About Us

Haiti is experiencing crises that complicate daily life across the country. And yet, many Haitian leaders and community organizations persevere. From the ground up, they are strengthening the country’s healthcare, education, rural economies and more.

WHAT IS POCKETS OF HOPE?

Pockets of Hope is a campaign of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and partners to broaden investment in locally led initiatives that are building a strong and equitable future for Haitian children, families and communities.

OUR OBJECTIVES

In collaboration with fellow funders, grantees and other partners dedicated to Haiti, we will:

  • Work to increase investments and maximize impact.
  • Bring powerful stories from Haiti of groundbreaking locally led initiatives.
  • Share best practices in philanthropy for system-level change, grounded in authentic partnerships, community engagement, local leadership and equity.
